Jim Ochi > This pregnant woman is lying in her hut, sick with a headache and fever. We asked her to come to the medical clinic. The white tape on her forehead is a traditional way of treating sickness. We simply gave her ibuprofen which took away her headache and fever. She reported feeling much better a couple hours later. We also gave her a supply of multivitamins as there is no prenatal care in the area. Almost every patient needed basic everyday remedies which are either unavailable or unaffordable.
